BaxterStorey, alongside numerous culinary experts, have raised an impressive €15,000 for Debra Ireland, following a fundraising five-course dinner, hosted at Arnotts Restaurant in Dublin.
The charity dinner was the culmination of several months of fundraising for finance director Deirdre Byrne, who is taking on the Debra Ireland Arctic Challenge in March. This once in a lifetime opportunity will see Deirdre alongside other volunteers, push themselves beyond their limits as they will be trekking 150km above the arctic circle, in a gruelling seven-day challenge.
Commencing with a champagne drink’s reception, over 80 guests were treated to a five-course dinner, celebrating the very best of Irish produce.
The celebration was supported by our talented culinary teams and front of house stars to demonstrate their skills in delivering fresh, local ingredients prepared and served with great professionalism. Guests were treated to:

Liz Collins, Quality Control Manager at BaxterStorey is a Family Patient Ambassador with Debra Ireland, as her daughter Claudia was born with EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa), a severe genetic skin blistering condition for which there is currently no cure. An estimated 1 in 18,000 babies born in Ireland are affected by EB and over 500,000 worldwide. Liz has previously completed the Arctic challenge to help raise funds for the charity.
