BaxterStorey Ireland Welcomes New Managing Director

It’s an exciting time for BaxterStorey as we welcome three new faces to the business, including our new managing director, Alan Russell.  With over 25 years of industry experience, Alan will be focusing on talent attraction and retention to support in growing the business.

Alan said: “I am delighted to join such a progressive and innovative business as BaxterStorey. Over the next twelve months, we will see the launch of some exciting nutrition and sustainability initiatives, as well as continued investment for in training for our employees. I’m looking forward to working closely with our senior management team to continue pushing the boundaries of foodservice excellence”.

Anthony Reilly, Head of Food and Nutrition joined our team earlier this year, bringing over 20 years’ experience in delivering high quality food that is locally sourced. Recently awarded a Master of Science in Applied Culinary Nutrition, Anthony’s focus will be to provide nutritious and delicious meals to our customers, through motivating and training our talented culinary teams to challenge the norm when it comes to foodservice delivery.

Anthony said: “I am lucky to work with such a passionate team here at BaxterStorey. Positive mood food that is nutritionally balanced, local and in season is central to our ethos. Sustainability is a key focus for us, it is important we support food producers local to our clients and continue to provide our customers with the freshest food made by our fantastic chefs”.

Completing our new leadership structure with a focus on chef development is Gavin McDonagh. He brings vast amounts of industry experience and will focus on coaching our teams, helping individuals to develop in their careers.

Gavin commented: “Nurturing talent is critical to running a successful business and I am really looking forward to working with the BaxterStorey team. BaxterStorey is founded on a commitment to training and I can’t wait to continue working alongside our chefs to develop the culinary stars of the future”.
